“We’re honored that FoodLogiQ was chosen for its innovation in the technology space,” says Jamie Duke, FoodLogiQ CEO. “We strive every day to think beyond the immediate needs of our customers, and instead, to forecast what will help them to be successful years down the road.”
FoodLogiQ, the leading SaaS provider of traceability, food safety and supply chain transparency solutions, today announced it has been selected as the winner of the NC Tech Awards Innovative Product award. The NC Tech Awards is North Carolina's only statewide technology awards program that recognizes achievement and is presented by the North Carolina Technology Association (NC TECH).
The awards process culminated Thursday evening, November 15, with the NC TECH Awards Gala at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center in Durham, where hundreds of business, technology and public leaders from across the state gathered to celebrate the tech sector and honor the winners and finalists in each category.
“For over 20 years, NC TECH has celebrated companies, organizations and individuals for outstanding achievement at the NC TECH Awards. As a winner this year, FoodLogiQ has distinguished itself as one of the state’s innovative and emergent leaders,” stated Brooks Raiford, NC TECH’s President and CEO.
FoodLogiQ was formed out of the Clarkston-Potomac Group in 2006 following the implementation of a Canadian cattle traceability program. Founded on this heritage of traceability, FoodLogiQ and its customer solutions grew as it became clear there was a need in the market for end-to-end traceability at food companies. The consumers and the customers both wanted the same thing – robust information about where their food was coming from.
Leveraging the best technology practices and a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, the company created FoodLogiQ Connect, a cloud-based supplier transparency and traceability solution that unlocks massive value across food company supply chains. More than 8,000 businesses in over 100 countries use the company’s software, logging more than 10 million critical tracking events to date. Some of the most well-known brands in the world are FoodLogiQ customers, including Whole Foods Market, IPC/Subway, Dave & Buster’s, Tyson Foods, and many more.
