FoodLogiQ Named as a 2017 NC Tech Award Finalist

More than 700 business leaders attend the annual gala to celebrate the tech sector and honor the finalists and winners which took place on November 9, 2017 in Durham, NC.

FoodLogiQ was honored last week with a Technology Corporate Award nomination in the Industry Driven category by the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA). As North Carolina’s largest and most prestigious statewide technology awards program, the NC Tech Awards recognizes companies and individuals who have characterized excellence, innovation and leadership.

“For over 20 years, the North Carolina Technology Association has celebrated companies, organizations and individuals for outstanding achievement at the NC Tech Awards. As a finalist this year, FoodLogiQ has distinguished itself as one of the state’s most innovative and emergent leaders,” stated Brooks Raiford, NCTA’s President and CEO.

“It is a great honor to be recognized by our peers two years in a row for our food safety compliance, traceability, and supply chain transparency technology,” said Dean Wiltse, CEO of FoodLogiQ. “This acknowledgement reflects the talent and dedication of the employees at FoodLogiQ.”

North Carolina is home to some of the most influential technology companies in the industry including SAS, Citrix, Cree, Republic Wireless, and Oracle + Bronto along with a vibrant start-up community. Some of the ones to keep an eye on are Adwerx, Brilliant Sole, BruVue, Ekos Brewmaster, and Pendo who won awards in the Use of Technology - Customer Service and Small Company categories.

Brooks Raiford told the Triad Business Journal, “Year after year we continue to see a high level of excellence and innovation from the technology community in North Carolina. We’re pleased to highlight such a diverse mix of companies and leaders at this year’s Awards event.”
