FoodLogiQ's Katy Jones Among Finalists for the 2018 CMO Club Awards

Finalists and Winners to Be Honored at The CMO Club Roundtable and Awards Ceremony November 13 in NYC

FoodLogiQ, the leading SaaS provider of traceability, food safety and supply chain transparency solutions, is pleased to announce that its Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer Katy Jones has been named a 2018 finalist for the annual CMO Club Awards.

Bestowed annually across 10 categories, the awards recognize top senior marketing executives and are the only awards of their kind given to CMOs by their peers. A total of four winners per category will be determined by Oct. 17, 2018, and all finalists, winners, and the 2018 CMO Hall of Fame inductee will be honored at The CMO Awards Ceremony Dinner on Nov. 13, 2018, in New York City.

Those eligible for award nomination must currently hold the title of CMO or be serving as a senior marketing executive for a major company, brand or organization. Eligibility does not require membership in The CMO Club.

Prior to The CMO Awards Dinner Nov. 13, all award finalists and winners will participate in an "All-Star" Thought Leadership Roundtable, as well as participate in the development of a 2018 CMO Awards Winners Insights Report for CMO Club members.

Jones is a one of an esteemed group of marketing professionals selected as finalists for the CMO Rising Star Award, which recognizes a demonstrated range of capabilities in leading an organization, marketing innovation, and leading a company's growth agenda, with fewer than 10 years of senior marketing experience.

Since joining FoodLogiQ in 2015, Jones has served as a thought leader within the food industry, providing insight and education on the importance of supplier management and traceability across the food supply chain. Jones holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in data marketing communications from West Virginia University.  In addition to her membership in The CMO Club, she is a 2017 recipient of the Triangle Business Journal C-Suite Award.

"I am humbled and honored to be nominated as a finalist for the 2018 CMO Rising Star Award," said Jones.  "I'm very fortunate to love what I do, and I'm passionate about the impact CMO's can have within their organizations."

The other finalists for the Rising Star Award include CMO's from Daisy Brand, ADT, TaskUs, WWE Inc., Potbelly Sandwich Works, AvePoint, and Convoy Inc.

CMO Club Founder and CEO, Pete Krainik, said, "This year's nominees represent the best and the brightest, and we are thrilled to have so many industry thought leaders in attendance. The fact that each year more than 100 CMOs attend the awards to honor their peers is a true testament to the pride and esteem the executives have for one another."
