FoodLogiQ to Join More Than 3,600 Food Safety Pros at IAFP Conference

Three-day conference to provide food safety professionals with a global forum to exchange information on protecting the food supply

Kentucky is known for its bourbon (Cheers, Mr. Beam!), basketball rivalries (Go, Cats and Cards!) and bluegrass music (Bravo, Ricky Skaggs).  It’s also the location of this year’s International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) Annual Meeting, taking place this week in the host city of Louisville. Attendees at the 2019 gathering will have access to current and emerging food safety issues, the latest food science, innovative solutions to new and recurring problems, and the opportunity to network with thousands of food safety professionals from around the globe. Held in various locations throughout North America (2018 was in Salt Lake City, Utah; the 2020 host is Cleveland, Ohio), this meeting has grown over the years to become a leading food safety conference.

The IAFP Annual Meeting is attended by more than 3,600 of the top industry, academic and governmental food safety professionals from six continents. This event owes its reputation for excellence to the quantity, quality, and diversity of each year’s program; the nature and relevance of exhibits sharing the latest in available technologies; leading experts speaking on a variety of timely topics; and special recognition of outstanding professionals and students for their contributions in the food safety field.

Representatives from FoodLogiQ are located in Booth #152 in the IAFP exhibit hall, where they will be sharing information about FoodLogiQ Connect, the leading food industry software solution that specializes in supplier management, food safety compliance, quality incident management, recall management, and whole chain traceability.
