Tony Barbone joins as Chief Revenue Officer; Julie McGill moves into new role as Vice President, Supply Chain Strategy and Insights
FoodLogiQ is excited to welcome two talented new members to our executive leadership team! We're thrilled to announce the addition of Tony Barbone as our Chief Revenue Officer, and the promotion of Julie McGill to Vice President of Supply Chain Strategy and Insights. With these additions, the company will be able to keep pace with our rapid growth as we scale to support more companies transforming their supply chain.
As CRO, Barbone will work closely with the executive team and others to craft FoodLogiQ’s vision for pioneering new markets and opportunities. Barbone comes to FoodLogiQ from SumTotal Systems in Boston, where he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Platform Sales and led a 160-person global sales organization. He previously served as National Vice President of Sales at SAP. With over two decades of experience as a top performer in roles spanning sales, business development, account management, presales and consulting, Barbone brings an extensive background in SaaS solutions and engaging with enterprise and mid-market accounts.
In her new role as Vice President of Supply Chain Strategy and Insights, Julie will advise on industry, customer and product insights to improve market adoption, customer satisfaction and value generation. McGill previously spent over 15 years with GS1 US, where she led the Foodservice GS1 US Standards Initiative, working with manufacturers, distributors, operators and supply chain partners to increase efficiencies and build a foundation for traceability and supply chain visibility through the use of GS1 standards. McGill was recently selected as one of the “Five Food Logistics Champions You Need to Know” by Food Logistics Magazine.
“Tony’s expertise in sales strategy, market penetration and revenue generation will add a new level of depth and breadth to our business, and I’m very excited about his arrival,” says Sean O’Leary, CEO of FoodLogiQ. “At the same time, Julie is a FoodLogiQ powerhouse, and her promotion is well-deserved. Her ability to collaborate across the food industry, to understand our customer’s supply chain needs and challenges, and to push the industry forwards towards true traceability is remarkable. Our leadership team has never been stronger.”
“FoodLogiQ is a leader in enabling transparency in our food supply chain,” says Barbone. “I am excited to join the leadership team during this momentous phase in our company’s growth.”
“The food industry is standing at an information crossroads, and it’s like nothing we’ve seen before,” McGill says. “FoodLogiQ enables companies with visibility across entire supply chains, connecting them to key trading partners. It’s a pivotal time at FoodLogiQ, and I am grateful to be a part of this amazing team.”
